Lassen and West Valley Play to a Pair of Ties in High School Soccer
The Lassen Grizzly boys and girls soccer teams traveled to West Valley Thursday, (1/29) for a pair of NAL high school matches. Both teams ended their matches with 0-0 ties.
Lassen Boys
Lassen – 0
West Valley – 0
While the game officially counts as a tie, West Valley did win the shoot-out, 3-2, which could factor into playoff seedings. “I think we’ll be ahead of them when it’s all over.” Said Lassen head coach, Dennis Michaels. The Grizzlies are now 4-2-2 in NAL matches, 6-3-2, overall.

Lassen – 0
West Valley – 0
The tie gives the Lady Grizzlies a 6-0-2, conference record (1st place). West Valley is 6-1-1.
Both Lassen squads return home to Riverside Park, Tuesday, Feb. 3rd, to face The Anderson Cubs. First match begins at 3:15 p.m.
