The Lassen Grizzlies completed a season sweep of the visiting Cubs, outscoring Anderson 17-0 over two games. “It’s a win, and we’ll take it,” said Lassen head coach Dennis Michaels, “but it’s not going to be good enough to get us through the playoffs.” Adrian Orozco scored three goals for the victorious Grizzlies, with Chris Lilly, David Delsimone and Reynaldo Lopez, each adding single goals. Pedro Castrejon assisted on three of Lassen’s seven goals. Lassen is now 5-2-2 in conference play and 7-3-2 overall.
Both Lassen teams wrap up the regular season, Thursday, Feb. 5th, against Central Valley.
