Lassen High Soccer Team Wraps up Regular Season with Six-Nil Victory Over Central Valley
The Lassen Grizzly boys soccer team played a, gimme’ game against Central Valley, Thursday, (2/05) at Riverside Park. When the match was done, Lassen had wrapped up the regular season with a 6-0 win over the Falcons of Central Valley.
Adrian Orozco, punched in one goal and assisted on five others to have a hand, (or foot, or head ) involved in each Lassen goal. Juan Castrejon jammed in a pair of goals while, Josh Hepner and Jordan Guess each scored single goals in the Grizzlies blanking of Central Valley.
Lassen finishes the NAL season at 6-2-2, (8-3-2 overall), and now must wait at least a week to find out it’s playoff fate. “I think this win puts us firmly in the second spot going into the playoffs.” Said Lassen head coach, Dennis Michaels.
Lassen, with no games remaining on the schedule, must now wait for the seeding committee to met next week, at the conclusion of section play which runs through Feb, 13th.
