The Lady Cougars hosted the Lassen Invitational Softball Tournament

Lady Cougars rallied from 8-2 defecit to beat the 49ers.

The Lady Grizzlies played in the Anderson Invitational

Lassen – 2
Lassen finishes the tournament with two wins and three losses and are now 10-8-2 on the season. The Lassen ladies open Northern Athletic League play, Tuesday, March 31st, at Anderson High School.

The Cougars played a Golden Valley Conference doubleheader against Shasta College in Redding,Ca.

Saturday, (3/28)

Lassen – 6
Lassen second baseman, C.J. Velarde drove in three runs.

Daveron Ross
of Lassen was 3 x 5 with two RBI. Tommy O’Brien was 2 x 5 with two RBI and Joshua Hatch drove in three Cougar runs.
Lassen drops to 5-10 in GVC play.

Feather River College Baseball
The Golden Eagles hosted a GVC doubleheader against Butte College, Saturday, (3/28).

Game 1

Feather River – 5
Butte – 2
Tyrell Smith
(7-1) allowed one run through eight innings to earn the win. Andy Quiring was 2 x 4 with three RBI.

Game 2

Feather River – 18
Butte – 8
Niko Saladis
, Phil Mannelly and Josh Daniel, each drove in three runs for the Golden Eagles. Feather River improves to 25-2 and remains unbeaten in the Golden Valley Conference (14-0).
