Lassen College Drops Two in Quincy

The Lassen College Cougar and Lady Cougar basketball teams fell to 0-2 in the Golden Valley Conference with losses to Feather River College, Saturday, (1/16).
Women’s Final
Feather River – 65
Lassen – 56

Men’s Final
Feather River – 94
Lassen – 69

The Lassen ladies, 5-13, (0-2, GVC) will host Butte College, Wednesday, January 20th, at the Lassen College Sports Complex. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
The Lassen men, 1-16, (0-2), will face Butte following the women’s game.

I attended the Shasta College games in Redding and I was impressed with the positive attitudes of many of the players on both the Lassen squads. A true test of one’s character is how one handles adversity. Keeping working hard with a good attitude and your efforts will pay off down the road in some form or another!!
