AFC
Do you believe in karmic justice? I’m not sure if I do, but the irony of the upcoming AFC championship game cannot be ignored.

Lassen High Rally Comes Up Short
Information submitted by Lassen head coach, Leo Bennett
The Lassen Grizzly boys basketball team opened Northern Athletic League play in Yreka, Friday, (1/15).
Final Score
Yreka – 63

Three Overtimes
We were down 13 heading into the fourth quarter and battled back to tie it at the end of regulation. It took three overtimes to decide the winner, with a packed house at their feet.
Failed free throws, (1 for 7 in overtime), proved too much to overcome. Yreka scored on a put back and was fouled to go up three with .38 seconds left. We missed a layup and were forced to foul. Yreka converted one of two to take the lead by four in the waning seconds.

> Jordan Vial – 11 points

> Torin Thompson – 6 points
> Jacob Estes – 5 points
> David Wagner – 2 points
