LHS Wrestlers Battle Into State Tournament

Five Lassen High School wrestlers competed in the North Section Masters Tournament, at the Redding Convention Center, (2/26-27). Two earned trips to the “State Finals.”Individual results for the Lassen High Wrestlers at the North Section Masters Tournament.
> 127 lbs. - Byron Treece – 3rd place
> 173 lbs. - Brad Memmott – 4th place
> 217 lbs. - Darren Lee – 1st place
Darren Lee and Byron Treece have qualified for the California State Wrestling Championships, held at Rabobank Arena, in Bakersfield, (Ca.) March 5th and 6th.

Other Lassen wrestlers competeing at the Masters Tournament were, Alex McConnell, (135 lbs.) and Ben Thomas, (154 lbs.).
