A Christmas Song AND a Christmas Goat

We came about Lola when she was four days old. Lot’s of poo & pee later, she is four months old, and wishing you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS!
And today’s selection for our “25 Days of Christmas” celebaration. Yep, it’s another version of “Blue Christmas.” Because it makes me happy…

Todays song in our “25 Days of Christmas” celebration is for the ladies, although, as has already been stated, it’s one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs. Trust me, it won’t be the last version of “Blue Christmas” you hear. We still have 11 days…

Nine Grizzlies Earn All-League Honors
Lassen High School head football coach, Tom St. Jacques announced Wednesday, (12/09), that nine Grizzly players had been named to the all Northern Athletic League football team.
Offensive MVP
> OL - Luke Petersen
I’ve been covering sports for an awfully long time, and I cannot recall an offensive lineman earning MVP honors at this level. And Petersen is only a junior.
Defensive MVP
> LB – Darren Lee
Lee is expected to continue his football and academic career at Boise State University.
Others Earning All-League Honors
> QB – Richard Murphy
> OL/DL – William Zekas
> DL - Brandon Bowles
> RB/DB/P – Trevor Baum
> LB – Austin Chedwick
> DL – Cammo Miller
> K – Andy Pustejovsky
The Grizzlies finished the 2009 season as Div.II NSCIF champs.
Congratulations to the entire team and staff from Lassen Sports Network.com

Tuesday Sports… Ok Tuesday Christmas Music for the More Liberal Folks
I know, I’m a day behind on our Christmas countdown. It’s absolutely amazing what the lack of a mouse can do to the entire operation here at Blackwood Enterprises. We’re fixed and will get caught up. Don’t forget, what you don’t find here, you’ll find on your radio, at 96.3 Jack FM in Susanville, Ca. Three times daily at 6:50 a.m., 11:50 a.m. and 4:50 p.m.
For now, let’s get caught up on the Lassen Sports Network.com “25 Days of Christmas.”
Since we have entered December, and I actually enjoy a little dose of Holiday music, we will provide a song-a-day through Christmas, along with our daily update. So here’s song #7 in the Lassen Sports Network.com “25 Days of Christmas.”
A visitor dogged my selection of Mariah Carey earlier in our celebration, as “too schlocky,” so we’ll go in a different direction, and just party with Bob Dylan… Come on, it’s Bob Dylan, and it’s brand new. Not to mention, it falls into the constant party theme that is, Blackwood Enterprises and Lassen Sports Network.com

This one may be the “poppiest”(not sure if that’s a word, but you know what I mean) of all my selections, but I dig it, and I had to find a way to get a Hot Reindeer into the show…As I explained to a follower of Lassen Sports Network.com via email, all of the songs you will hear during our celebration of Christmas, are simply, songs that make me happy… If you have a favorite, let us know…
We’ll have your local sports as the results come in.
