Diamond Mountain Golf Course Opens for the Season

It’s a sure sign of spring! The Diamond Mountain golf course is open for the season.

All 18 holes at the course look great and along with the driving range are ready for play.

Formerly known as Emerson Lake Golf Course, this course was renamed, redesigned and expanded to a full 18-holes several years ago.

Nestled at the base of Diamond Mountain this course offers something for everyone, with its long straight fairways, simple doglegs, numerous pine trees and fast greens.

The tight layout has a defined cut of rough bordering its fairways, so shot accuracy is at a premium, and sand bunkers have been included in the design of every hole.
The course personnel take great pride in the course’s large, sloped greens, which are fast but are soft in texture, so they should hold your shots.

The restaurant at the clubhouse isn’t open quite yet, but will be in a few weeks.  If you are considering holding an event at the course this summer make sure you get on the calendar early. Current hours of operation are 9am to 6pm and for tee times you can call the clubhouse at 530.257.2520. The Diamond Mountain Golf course is located at 470-895 Circle Drive.  Click here for  … Click the headline to continue reading this LSN Story
