“Bronco Babe” From Boise, Idaho Sends a Note… I Really Dig This Kind of Stuff…

As I have come to find out, my big sister’s computer name is “Bronco Babe”, as she is a huge Boise State football fan. I knew about the Boise State fandom thing, but a nickname, you’re killing me.
Scroll down to see her previous points (and those of others), or go to the archives under, “Fun with Scott” or ”Letters from You”.
Have fun reading the following post and I hope to recieve future posts from all of you. We certainly encourage your thoughts, concerns, suggestions, even gripes, be them sports related or otherwise.
No scripting or forethought took place in either of our comments. OK, at least not mine, but I did make up a few words along the way…

Bronco Babe’s Rebuttal: (To a previous conversation)
I am smarter than you, and can still shoot your eyeballs out in basketball! Geez, give a guy his own show and he has delusions of grandeur!
Scott B. - OK, so you actually attended more classes than I did and I honestly can’t argue the fact that you can shoot my “eyeballs out”, In Horse! But I play defense… And let us not forget, in high school, you loved the three point shot, and it didn’t even exist!.. And it’s all those, never played, but I’m great in fantasy football and I can recite the Baseball Encyclopedia,  … Click the headline to continue reading this LSN Story

Another Letter From You Guys

As always, we love to hear from you…

I’m listening to a college football beat down with representatives and “experts” from all the BCS bowls on our local sports program. Keep in mind that we’re making an assumption that TCU and BSU go undefeated.
TCU gets in, we know this. Boise State won’t UNLESS:   Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State because OSU somehow becomes the big 12 runner up if they beat OU, and the Fiesta Bowl wants to honor their business arrangement with the Big 12. What happens to the loser of the Big 12 championship game? I thought they were the runner up?  Me thinks Boone Picken’s pockets are far reaching. And btw? BSU still isn’t assured a spot then, it’s just that if Oklahoma State loses the chances of an invite go up.
If Stanford wins out, which gives them an impressive resume, no one is interested in a second tier Pac 10 team as a BCS at large team.  What? What is Oklahoma State if not a second tier Big 12 team?? There impressive wins would be a down Oklahoma and Georgia squad? Unless the pac 10 is in the National Championship game, they are never invited as an at large to  … Click the headline to continue reading this LSN Story

Another Note From My Big Sister…

Another Note From My Big Sister in Boise

By the way, my sister is a big time jock, a smart cookie, a great mom, blah-blah-blah, yada-yada-yada, and all that, but, regardless of what she may insinuate in her writings to us here at Lassen Sports Network.com, she can’t beat me, and she doesn’t know more than I do… She’s a great chick though…

I hear that Lassen High is playing our old Alma Mater this week in Anderson. I want to wish them (Lassen) well, as you speak so highly of the program and everyone involved with it. I’d be hard pressed to go against our old Cubbies, seeing as how it was just yesterday that we graduated. (She is my “big” sister).
BTW, how did you graduate…by the hair of your chinny-chin-chin?
From,
The smart one in the family. (Other than Dad, of course, because I know he’ll be reading this.)

You can, of course hear the afore-mentioned Lassen vs. Anderson, North Section, semi-final football game, live right here on Lassen Sports Network.com November 20th, at 7:00 p.m. beginning with our D & L Distributing pre-game conversation with Lassen head coach Tom St. Jacques. (BTW, Big Sister, coach St. Jacques played on the “Blue Turf” at Boise St).

A Letter From My Big Sister

We here at Lassen Sports Network.com love to hear from our listeners and visitors. This submission comes from my sister in Boise, Idaho. She’s a big time Boise State Bronco fan.

What’s happening with the Niners?
Scott’s Response: They’re headed in the right direction, but right now, they’re just good enough to lose.
This week is the Idaho game with BSU…big rivalry. Wouldn’t be surprised if we lost if this team can’t show more consistancy. I’m not being negative, just realistic. Our team seems to take time off in a game. Coach even says he hasn’t gotten a bead on this team yet.
Explain to me how USC can get pummeled by Oregon, humiliated, really. Then they lose, and USC impresses all with a squeaker against ASU. They have the same records, however, they have the head to head. And USC is ahead of Oregon in the polls by 4-6 spots? I understand they have all this “talent,” but they are not a good team yet.
Are you happy that Notre Dame lost to Navy? (Indeed I am) I personally enjoyed the hell out of that game. Always have a soft spot for the armed forces teams. Exactly how many home games does ND have?!
I’m getting tickets  … Click the headline to continue reading this LSN Story
