Hester Returns to Competition

Destiny Hester’s latest meet was the Flips Invitational, held at the Grand Sierra in Reno, (Nv.), Sunday January 17th. It was a pretty large meet with 72 Level 5 gymnasts, 25 of those in Destiny’s age group.
Hester placed 5th on Vault with a score of 8.75, 3rd on Bars with a score of 9.15, 4th on Beam with a score of 9.1 and 1st on Floor with a score of 9.625. She finished the meet with a 2nd place All-Around score of 36.625.
She got beat by only a 1/4 of a tenth of a percent!
The 1st place All Around score was 36.650!! Destiny’s next meet is in San Diego, Friday, January 29th.

Destiny Hester Brings Home Gold AGAIN!

Destiny (Hester) 
competed last Saturday (Oct. 10th) in Auburn, Ca. at the MiyagiGold Classic. She did very well. She placed 1st in three of the four events and also placed 1st with an All-Around score of 37.175. She placed 1st on Vault with a score of 9.125, 3rd on Bars witha score of 9.050, 1st on Beam with a score of 9.575, and 1st on Floor with a score of 9.425.
Her last meet of the fall season is Sunday (Oct.18th) hosted by our Gym Deltchev Gymnastics in Reno.

Destiny Hester Dazzles Again

We had a gymnastics  meet this weekend in Reno. It was the Gold Dust, held on Sunday Oct. 4th in Reno (Nv.) Destiny did extremely well! She got 2nd place on Vault with a score of 8.725, 3rd place on Bars with a score of 8.975, 1st place on Beam with a score of 9.625 and 1st place on Floor with a score of 9.55. She also placed 1st with the All-Around with a combined score of 36.875. The Deltchev level 5 girls also took home the 1st place Team Award. Her next meet is Saturday in Sacramento.

Destiny Hester Takes First All Around in Sacramento Meet

Lassen county resident, Destiny Hester (on the top podium above) competed in the first gymnastics meet of season September 12th, travelling with the Deltchev Academy team to the River City Classic in Sacramento.

Hester competed level 5 and placed 4th on vault with a score of 8.525, 5th on bars with a score of 9.100 and 1st on beam with an impressive score of 9.500.  Destiny was 1st on floor competition with a 9.425 and walked away from the event with the first place all-around medal for a score of 36.550.

The level 5 Deltchev Academy girls also took home the 1st place team award.  Destiny’s next meet is in Reno on October 4th.
