Herlong, playing it’s third game in five nights, hit just 12 of 56 field goals on the night, but Herlong’s stellar defense enabled the team to go into the locker-room at halftime tied with Downieville 11-11. Tina Berry led Herlong with nine points. Reanna Retterath had yet another double-double, this time with 13 rebounds and ten blocked shots. Retterath also contributed eight points to the Herlong victory. Andrea “Peanut” Owen chipped in with eight points.
