Five Lassen High School wrestlers competed in the North Section Masters Tournament, at the Redding Convention Center, (2/26-27). Two earned trips to the “State Finals.”Individual results for the Lassen High Wrestlers at the North Section Masters Tournament.
> 127 lbs. - Byron Treece – 3rd place
> 173 lbs. - Brad Memmott – 4th place
> 217 lbs. - Darren Lee – 1st place
Darren Lee and Byron Treece have qualified for the California State Wrestling Championships, held at Rabobank Arena, in Bakersfield, (Ca.) March 5th and 6th.

Here are the result for the Division II finals held this past weekend at West Valley High School.

> 127 lbs. – Byron Treece – 2nd
> 137 lbs. – Alex McConnell – 5th
> 154 lbs. – Ben Thomas – 4th
> 173 lbs. – Brad Memmott – 3rd
> 217 lbs. – Darren Lee – 2nd (held out of finals due to sickness)
> Hwt. – Shane Rutledge – 7th

Next up for the LHS wrestlers will be the North Section Masters Tournament held at the Redding Convention Center, Friday and Saturday, February 26th and 27th.
The top three wrestlers in each weight class will qualify for the CIF State Wrestling Tournament in Bakersfield, March 5th and 6th.

Here are the results for the Lassen Wrestlers at the Northern Athletic League Tournament, held Saturday, (2/13).
The Varsity squad ended up 4th behind Anderson, Corning and West Valley.

Here are the results for the Lassen JV wrestlers at the North Valley Championships, held at Orland High School this past Saturday, (2/06).
Individual Reasults

Next up for the Lassen wrestlers is a make-up dual with West Valley, Wednesday, February 10th, (at West Valley).

The short-handed Lassen High wrestlers hosted the Anderson Cubs in their final home meet of the year, Wednesday, (2/03).

Next up for the Lassen High wrestlers is an NAL dual meet with Anderson High School, in “The Cave“, Wednesday, February 3rd, at 6 p.m.
Saturday, February 6th, the JV will travel to Orland for the North Valley Championships.

The Lassen High wrestlers traveled to Eagle Point, Oregon this past weekend, (1/23), for a tournament.
The team keeps improving every time out.  They wrestled very well.  The tournament format was; a wrestler had to make it to semi-finals to finish in the top four.  If a wrestler loses before then, the highest they could go for was 5th.

> 130 lbs. – Nick Hibbits -6th
> 130 lbs. – Alex McConnell – 1st, (mini tournament)
> 140 lbs. – Kyle Gibson – 5th

Lassen will host Central Valley in an Northern Athletic League dual meet, Wednesday, January 27th. Action is scheduled to begin at 6:00 P.M.
