Here’s how the NASCAR pool works:
You pick who you think the top five finishers will be each race. You are then awarded points for where your drivers actually finish the race. Example: If you pick Mark Martin to win the race and he finishes 35th, you are awarded 35 points. The object is to have the fewest points, (like golf). There is a ten point deduction to your score if you pick the actual race winner. The tie-breaker is guessing the number of caution flags during each weeks event.
The lowest possible score is five points. Our mathematician friends tell us the odds of picking the top five drivers in that actual order are… Let’s just say if it happens, you should definitely buy a lottery ticket. If it happens here, you still win an extra large two topping pizza from the Pizza Factory.
